Terms of Conditions

Last updated: April 13, 2026

These terms describe the deal between you and the team that makes Tornado PDF. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If something is unclear, write to support@tornadopdf.com and a real person will answer.

1. Who we are

Tornado PDF is published by the Tornado PDF team. In the rest of this document, "we", "us" and "our" refer to that team. "You" refers to the person installing or using the app.

2. The license we give you

We grant you a personal, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to install and use Tornado PDF on any Apple device you own or control, for your personal or internal business use. The app itself, including its code, design, and branding, remains our property and the property of our licensors.

3. Things you agree not to do

You agree not to do any of the following:

4. Your content stays yours

The PDFs, images, and text you process with Tornado PDF belong to you. We do not claim ownership, we do not sell them, we do not train anything on them. Some advanced tools need to send a document to a backend service to run, and in those cases the document is used only to perform the operation you asked for and is deleted promptly after. Read the privacy policy for details.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Premium is a paid subscription managed through your Apple ID. Apple, not us, handles the payment. The subscription policy page has the full breakdown of plans, renewal behavior, and how to cancel. In short: your plan renews automatically until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from the App Store.

6. Updates and changes

We ship updates to fix bugs, improve the design, and add new tools. Some updates may change how the app looks or behaves. If a change meaningfully affects your use of a paid feature, we will do our best to tell you about it inside the app or by email before it rolls out.

7. Third party tools and services

The app uses a few third party components, including Google Mobile Ads for ad supported free use, Apple StoreKit for purchases, and a PDF processing backend for the server tools. Each of those has its own terms. By using Tornado PDF you accept their terms to the extent those apply to the portions of the app that rely on them.

8. No warranty, within the law

Tornado PDF is provided as is. We work hard on it, we ship frequent updates, and we aim for the app to be useful and reliable, but we cannot promise that every tool will work on every document for every person. To the fullest extent that applicable law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the Tornado PDF team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability, for any claim related to the app, will not exceed the amount you paid for Tornado PDF during the twelve months before the claim arose.

10. Termination

You can stop using Tornado PDF at any time by deleting it. We can suspend access for accounts that break these terms, attempt to abuse the backend service, or do something that would put other users at risk.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the Tornado PDF team is based, without regard to conflict of law rules, and without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country.
