Subscription Policy

This page explains exactly how Tornado PDF Premium subscriptions work, how much they cost, when they renew, and what to do when you want to stop. If something on this page is unclear, email support@tornadopdf.com and a real person will answer.

What Premium unlocks

Tornado PDF is free to download. Premium removes every ad from the app and unlocks the full toolset, including unlimited merging, OCR, Word, Excel and PowerPoint conversion, password protection, redaction, batch processing, and digital certificate signing. Free users can still use a generous set of tools, but ads are shown and some tools are gated.

Plans, periods, and prices

We offer three renewing subscription options. All three give you the same Premium access. The only difference is how often you are billed.

Prices may appear differently in your local currency and region. Apple displays the exact amount you will be charged on the confirmation screen before you subscribe, in your local currency, including any applicable taxes. Prices in regions other than the United States follow Apple's standard price tier conversion.

Payment and renewal

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period for the same amount and length, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The renewal charge is made to the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How to cancel

You can cancel any active Tornado PDF subscription at any time. Apple handles the cancellation, not us, so you do not need to write to us to stop a renewal.

To cancel on iPhone or iPad:

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap Tornado PDF under Active Subscriptions.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

You can also open apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions from any Apple device to manage the same settings in the browser.

After you cancel, you keep Premium access until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again once the period ends.

Refunds

All refunds for Tornado PDF go through Apple, because Apple is the billing party. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If the reason for the refund is a bug we caused, we also want to know, so write to support@tornadopdf.com and tell us what happened. We will reply, fix the issue, and make sure the next person does not hit it.

Price changes

If we change the price of a subscription, Apple will notify you in advance and ask you to agree to the new price before it takes effect. If you do not agree, your subscription will simply not renew at the new price.

Restoring a purchase

If you reinstall the app or switch to a new iPhone or iPad signed in to the same Apple ID, your Premium status restores automatically the first time you open the app. You can also tap Restore Purchase on the Premium screen to force a check.
